Apparently the wind was cleaner yesterday, and the weather certainly was. I missed that, havin' a bit of a hang over from Friday night and chores to do.

There was quite a lot of kit laid on, and Tony was doing a sterling job of marshalling the toys for all the boys to have a play with, so no-one hogged the 'best' toy all day. It was a Starboard / Tushingham demo.

1st I went out on a large dinner plate called a Freeformula 158. The wind was dowm, and it came with an added 9.4 lightning. OK I planed at about 3 knots, and as for gybing, like standing on a large sideways ramp. Hmmm not sure, but with a light breeze you will definitely cover more ground.

Next came a 138 Hypersonic with a 7m. My timing was good, the wind followed suit with me. This thing is quick, I will say. Not too hard to gybe, and I've read reports saying it is difficult to get on the plane, well I didn't find that at all. I liked it a lot eee haaa.

The wind dropped again. I took a 131 Carve and an 8.5 lightning. Like the board not the sail. This sail has cams, 'orrible and heavy in comparison with my Tbird, and all that snapping when you've tacked or gybed a real palarva. The board does gybe better than a dinner plate though.

Then Denise got bored, so she decided to leave me at the childminders (Tony) while she went home, like. I had to wait a while as all the toys were out being played with by the other kids. But it was getting windier, I found a carve 99 and a 7.5, do these work together,,,,, just about apparently. No they didn't: plane yes, comfortable NO. But I can tell with the right sail and conditions it would be nce. So I swapped for a new avalable 111 carve. Much better, had a lot of fun, did some twidles and turns.

Then I realised the final stage of the tour had started, so I called Denise.

I like this demo lark!
